Metamorphosis
If I could metamorphosis into anything I want, I would turn into a dragon to protect my family, But first they would have to find me in my egg and wait for about 2-3 weeks for me to hatch. You can find dragon eggs in warm and wet places like rainforests. After I hatch, the people who found me must name the dragon (me), and if I like the name, then I will repeat the name – talking for a dragon is an instinct. Also I will be in the hatchling stage. Then, after a couple more weeks I would grow wings and have to live outside because I might break something valuable inside. Finally, after 3 more weeks I would finally be an adult dragon, but to protect my family I am going to have to learn how to control my fire breath. Also, by that time I would be about 20 feet tall! Being a dragon would be a big responsibility, but that’s why I want to be a dragon!
Seahorses
Seahorses are interesting and unique animals, mostly because they are very tiny! Seahorses are named seahorses because their head is shaped like a horse and they live in the sea. Seahorses also have hard plates on themselves to help them swim upright and they have a fin on their back to swim as well. Seahorses can be 1 to 5 years and their size can be up to inches to 14 inches! They really can be tiny! Did you know that once the female lays the eggs the male has to put the eggs in his pouch and take care of them? Wow! That would be hard work! So now I am guessing that you think seahorses are as interesting as I think they are.
Crabs
Crabs are unique animals and have many different qualities. Crabs’ eyes stick out of their head and if any predator comes near them, they will use their pincers to protect them. They also make holes in the sand or mud to protect themselves. Crabs are omnivores which mean they eat both meat and plants. They eat algae, mollusks, worms, and small crustaceans. Although crabs may not look interesting they are much more unique than any
other animal.
Emperor penguins
Emperor penguins are really interesting animals. Emperor penguins are birds but can’t fly because their bones are not hollow, while other birds bones are hollow- which makes other birds lighter and penguins heavier. But what penguins can do is swim and they’re really good at it, in fact most of their time is spent in the water! They even mate in the water! After several weeks the mother will lay the egg and leave the father to take care of the egg. The father then balances the egg on his feet and stands there for about two months. Then the mother finally comes back to take care of the chick. What a great team penguin parents. Penguins normally eat fish, squid, and krill, but the chicks can’t fit the whole fish in their mouth, the parents have to feed their chicks by throwing up food into the chicks’ mouths. It seems gross but the parents have to do it to keep the chick alive. So now you know why I think of Emperor penguins being cool!
Springtime
Springtime is a time when things start to change all around us. We see colorful plants, animals spending time with their families, gardeners gardening their garden, and kites getting flown. Then we could hear raindrops hitting the ground, birds chirping, frogs croaking, and lawnmowers cutting the grass. When we go outside we might feel different plants, grass, seeds, earthworms, and the wind blowing at us. Also in the air we could smell the fresh grass, the smell of pollen, and barbecue. Lastly, the taste of ice cream will definitely fill your mouth, and maybe even some tree sap. Springtime is a special time of the year with so much to see and do.
Mars
Mars is a very interesting planet, even right now, Mars is the main planet where scientists are trying to find out if there has been life on Mars. Mars has space rovers all over it trying to find evidence that there has been life on Mars, but what scientists have found out is that there is water on Mars, it has just taken the form of ice caps. Scientists also think that Mars’ core -made of iron, sulfur, and nickel- may have made a magnetic force around it in the earlier years. Also in the earlier years, the Ancient Romans thought Mars’ surface was red because it was a symbol of blood and war, but it was really because of the iron that has rusted in Mars’ surface. Mars has a really interesting history and that is why scientists are still interested in Mars, and they won’t stop researching until they know everything about Mars.
Save Earth
We are lucky the Earth provides us with trees and plants, as they give us air to breath. We should be thankful to the food the Earth provides us as well, as it helps us so we don’t starve. Also, Earth was the first one to provide us with shelter, so we could stay safe. We should be very thankful to Earth, because it has been helping everyone along the way.
We are very lucky to be living on Earth, and because of mother nature we have homes, factories, and ect…. But we need to stop using so much of mother nature, or we won’t meet our needs like food, water, shelter, and more. So that’s why we should use the 3r’s every day.
Now you know why it is so important to help Earth as well as it helps us or else instead of animals being extinct, humans will be extinct!
